Our Monthly Programme For 2019

Our programme of monthly meetings include a mixture of professional demonstrations and 'Hands on" evenings.

This year we have included the clubs committee meetings in the programme. If you would like to come along and see what happens or what is involved please do so. You are free to just watch or join in as you wish.

Jan' 23rd 'Hands On' - Beginners project; A Goblet.

Photo Session. - Graham will be taking pictures of the 'Presidents Challenge' winners and any other items members would like displayed on the Gallery page of the website. Bring along your best pieces.

A 'Holiday' Decoration / Ornament.
Feb' 27th 'Hands On' - Beginners project; A small Box. A 'Goblet' any form or type.
March 27th Demo' Night. We are pleased to welcome professional turner Keith Fenton. I believe this is his first visit to our club so lets give him a warm welcome. a 'box' size and style of your choice.

April 24th 'Hands On' - Beginners project; Making a finial. a simple salt and pepper set.
May 22nd 'Hands On' - Beginners project; A Mallet. A turned piece with a finial.
June 17th - 21st We will be using the Abingdon freespace shop again but on this occasion it will just be an exhibition of work and club details in the double window
June 26th This is a demo night and we welcome back Mike Haselden. One of the most inventive turners you will ever meet. A Mallet

July 24th 'Hands On' - Beginners project- A Tee Light Holder T B C. ( related to June Demo )
August 5th ?? Didcot Fayre. Edmonds Park, ??
August 28th Our annual 'special' meeting at 'The Toolpost'. Felix Hemsley will come up with a project and may run a sharpening clinic as well. You can also look around the shop and purchase if you wish.
