Our Monthly Programme For 2019 / 20

Our programme of monthly meetings include a mixture of professional demonstrations and 'Hands on" evenings.

This year we have included the clubs committee meetings in the programme. If you would like to come along and see what happens or what is involved please do so. You are free to just watch or join in as you wish.

May 22nd 'Hands On' - Beginners project; A Mallet. A turned piece with a finial.
June 26th This is a demo night and we welcome back Mike Haselden. One of the most inventive turners you will ever meet. A Mallet
July 1st Committee meeting. 7.00pm in Committee room. If you would like to come and watch or join in please drop Graham an email ( or just answer the reminder email )
July 24th 'Hands On' - Beginners project- A Tee Light Holder +++ Photo studio session, Bring your pieces along to photograph for the website ( or just for yourself ) T B C. ( related to June Demo )
August 28th Our annual 'special' meeting at 'The Toolpost'. Felix Hemsley will come up with a project and may run a sharpening clinic as well. You can also look around the shop and purchase if you wish.

Nov' 27th 'Hands On' - Beginners project; Holiday Decoratons / Ornaments. A specimen vase / weed pot.
Dec' 18th A brief as possible AGM followed by a 'Hands On' making more Holiday Decorations

Feb' 26th 'Hands On' - Beginners project; Mushrooms. Getting under the rim A 'tool' handle
March 25th Demo' Night. We are pleased to welcome professional turner Pete Moncrief Jury. This is his first visit to our club so lets give him a warm welcome. A 'mushroom' Let your imagination run wild.
April 22nd 'Hands On' - Beginners project; Spinning top & Arena. Whose will spin the longest ? +++ Photo studio session TBA . Dependant on last months demo. Will be announced at the March meeting.
May 27th 'Hands On' - Beginners project; Small bowls. Spinning top & Arena.
June 24th This is a demo night and we welcome professional turner Bryan Milham to our club for the first time. Bryan is 'Dr4gonfly' on the turning forums if you follow these. A bowl. Any size, any shape.
